Protect Women and Girls Fleeing
Human Rights Abuses
Luncheon hosted by Karen Hofmeister and Marty and Parvin McVey
The Tahirih Justice Center provides free legal services for
immigrant women and girls fleeing human rights abuse and has
protected over 9,000 women and their families since 1997. Based
in the Washington, DC area, Tahirih will be opening an office in
Houston in late 2009. Please join us and learn about more the
issues faced by women and girls fleeing violence from around the
world and how you can support efforts to protect them. |
